Starting near the eastern (inland) end of Golden Gate Park, this hike climbs up and down the hills of Ashbury Heights, Parnassus Heights below Mt. Sutro, and Buena Vista Park. It is especially lovely during plum blossom season in early spring, but at any time of year it offers many interesting and beautiful views of the city.
