Mt. Sutro-Twin Peaks
A Wild Hill in the Center of the City

This hike starts near the eastern (inland) end of Golden Gate Park, climbs up through eucalyptus forests to the top of Mt. Sutro, then crosses the Clarendon saddle to Sutro Tower and the top of Twin Peaks. From there, we walk along the strangely rural eastern side of Twin Peaks and then back down to the park. A gentle approach to one of the highest points in the city.
