Four Hills
Tank Hill, Kite Hill, Corona Hts, and a new use for old gravestones
Miles:     5
Hilliness, scale of 1-5:     5
Terrain:     Paved streets, dirt paths with stairs

Roaming over four high points in the center of San Francisco, this hike is a wealth of glorious views of the city, the bay, the ocean, the islands, and both famous bridges. Between the Castro and the Haight, you'll see what the rich do to their tree stumps, a showcase for native wildflower restoration, the best place to take a child on the weekend, a lot of very happy dogs, and a good idea for what to do with old gravestones.
